Welcome to Energy Skills Association

The Energy Skills Association of New Zealand (ESANZ) is committed to attracting, promoting and developing talent for the New Zealand Energy industry

ESANZ is committed to the development of an energy workforce that meets the needs of the New Zealand Energy industry today and in the future.

The association works to a framework that sees three pathways towards a sustainable skill development model including:

MAKE     being increasing the supply of trained workers through education and
FIX         meaning ensuring effective utilising of existing skills and workplaces and
BUY        incorporating skilled migrants into vacancies that cannot be filled in NZ

We work with a number of different stakeholders including Universities, Primary and Secondary Schools, Industry, Tertiary Providers, Training Providers and Government to develop and deliver our skills framework.
